Our cisterns are moulded in one piece and laminated by hand in superior quality Water Research Centre approved polyester resin/glass fibre. All but the domestic range have a steel frame bracing encased within the laminate which gives maximum support and minimum deflection to the tank walls.
Insulation
Polyurethane insulation is offered as standard in thickness of 25mm(0.72W/M²0°C) and is sheathed within the laminate of the tank walls and lids.
Ozone friendly - CFC free insulation is supplied as standard.
Tank Connections
(Standard uninsulated cisterns) Connections can be made by cutting the tank in situ or alternatively a service is available for factory fitting of bosses and spigots to suit customer's requirements.
(Insulated/Series 30 cisterns) We will alleviate the insulation at all your cistern connection locations, eliminating the risk of site work which may result in the insulation and GRP laminate being exposed.
Our standard products cover many chemical storage requirements and storage of water up to 55°C, although our cisterns will stand occasional higher temperatures and are therefore suitable for feed and expansion. For cisterns other than cold water storage please advise all chemical elements including trace elements, their percentage and the minimum and maximum working temperature.
Lids
1 - Light duty unsealed with turn down flanges is standard. 2 - Heavy duty sealed with manway and vent. 3 - Series 30 - sealed, insulated with screened breather (manway over 1000 litres).
Optional Extras
Polyurethane insulation 25mm, 50mm and 75mm (sealed within the structure of the tank). Manway (600x600mm) under 1000 litres (mandatory over 1000 litres). Additional inspection hatch (450x450mm). Raised ballvalve boxes. Ozone friendly CFC insulation (sealed within the structure of the tank). Various colours to BS standards.
Series 30 - Your easy way to comply with Byelaw 30
ALL our comprehensive range of GRP cisterns are available in Series 30 which enables you to readily comply with Section 30 of the 1986 Model Water Byelaws.
'S' Range
340 Ltr - 5225 Ltr Our 'S' Range offers a competitive 'standard' one-piece cistern design in the most popular sizes.
'D' Range
680 Ltr - 10,450 Ltr Our 'D' Range offers an alternative table of capacities and dimensions by using our unique chemical bonding technique. 'D' Tanks are slightly more expensive per capacity than the 'S' Range but may be the ideal answer for larger capacities.
Fabricated Range
This Range is especially designed for difficult locations, narrow access and specific sizes. We can supply any length, width or height to customer's requirements.
Domestic Range
45 Ltr - 340 Ltr Our Domestic Range offers water storage and feed and expansion cisterns.
As an alternative, a two-piece tank is also available for restricted access locations - details upon request from our Sales Team.
Drip Trays
GRP Drip Trays are available in standard sizes for 'S', 'D' and Domestic Cisterns. GRP Fabricated Trays to suit any length or width requirements are also available.
